Why Amarillo Works?

Because it does.

From running a four-room B&B in Cuba to designing between night shifts at a front desk in Miami. From launching Havana’s first coworking space to building bold brands for small business owners in DC. The name Amarillo has followed us through every chapter — a color that feels like sunrise: warm, hopeful, and full of creative energy.

We’re Saily (Brand Strategist) and Antoine (Creative Director). Together, we help immigrant-owned small businesses express their essence through strategic design.

We believe branding isn’t just about looking good — it’s about being understood, remembered, and respected.

Our approach is simple: listen deeply, design boldly, and collaborate closely with the people behind the dream.

  • I started out taking photos in Cuba, dreaming of exhibitions and fashion editorials. But soon, my creative path merged with entrepreneurship — helping build Amarillo B&B and Cuba’s first coworking space alongside Saily. That’s where I learned how to design not just for beauty, but for connection, and purpose.

After moving to the U.S., I kept designing through it all: night shifts at hotel front desks, assembling curtains in factories, delivering food, and eventually, working in-house for a tech company, creating packaging, websites, and digital campaigns for products sold worldwide.

Amarillo Works is my way of turning that journey into something bigger — using design to help other immigrant-owned businesses look as strong as they really are.
I believe in simple ideas, clean visuals, and making things that work.

  • I started out hosting guests in a small room I rented in Cuba, which grew into a four-room B&B, and later helped build the country’s first coworking space in Havana. That journey taught me how to turn limitations into creative strategy, and how thoughtful design can shape not only how people see you, but how far your business can go.

After moving to the U.S., I worked long shifts at hotel front desks, then stepped into the nonprofit and hospitality sectors supporting teams, managing operations, and learning how strong systems and clear communication drive impact.

With Amarillo Works, I bring together years of hands-on entrepreneurial experience and corporate insight to help immigrant-owned businesses grow with confidence and clarity.

I believe in strategy that’s grounded in real life, design that opens doors, and brands that tell a story worth remembering.
